As of December 2018, all the yarn art is purchased from a confirmed distributor of Huichol-culture artists from the Zitakua area of Mexico.

Shaman Ritual for Peyote (24"), by Norma Carrillo (1 left)

Huichol yarn painting from Nayarit area of Mexico. 23.5 x 23.5" (60 x 60 cm), yarn on wood. For preservation this should be framed. Description on back.

Imagery: Ritual performed by marakame (shaman) & pilgrims, who dance around peyote (surrounded by fire/sun) so it will bless crops & offerings (candles, muvieri stick, lightning). The eagle carries the message to the gods. The deer guides the shaman.
