Opium and LSD - A Flawed but Decent Combination

Tried 385mg Opium + 220ug LSD today, writing the trip report here. 5'6" 123lbs for dose reference.

Tolerance to both should be zero, I hadn't done any psychedelic recently and I was not noticing any tolerance buildup from once a week oral dose of opium.

220ug is usually a really good acid dose for me, both for euphoria, tactile enhancements, and visuals. 385mg opium is usually strong enough to make me nod out in bed during the peak.

Swallowed 385mg opium and 2 Benadryls (for nausea and opium potentiation), took a shower, brushed my teeth etc.

Noticed opium comeup; swallowed 220ug LSD and a ginger pill (for nausea).

LSD visuals started appearing, patterns appeared when I looked at the wall. The LSD comeup anxiety and physical side effects were noticeably very muted. Smoked some weed. So far it's a very pleasurable high both mentally and physically, but I noticed that the headspace and the experience overall felt less "deep" than a usual acid trip. It's like a PG13 version .

Still at the peak. More in a lazy mood than energetic mood. Listened to Snow Strippers in bed and watched visuals on the ceiling.

Was nodding in bed for an hour or something. Got up and brushed my teeth again and smoked more weed. I discovered that the tail end of an acid trip does NOT mix well with opium. The opium kept trying to pull me into peaceful opiate dreams but I can't get in there because I have too much residual mental stimulation from the acid.

The visuals are very peaceful and beautiful themed if that makes any sense, my CEVs personally looked like an expanding pattern of white colored complex architecture with pink and gold light effects flowing through them.

Music wise, today I mostly listened to Snow Strippers and Nicki Minaj, because the trip really needed some kind of chill stuff. I tried listening to trap or industrial but the violent vibes/lyrics kinda ruined my visuals/mood LOL.

Surprisingly though, I had no nausea throughout the day. And even more surprisingly, this is actually a good combo for sex. The sensory amplification from LSD counteracts the "numb" feeling when I try to have sex on opioids. The opium grounds me so I can have psychedelic sex without having to fight being "pulled in" into the headspace.

This combo actually is, physically a 10/10 sex drug for me. Emphasis on physically, because nodding out and dreaming during sex is VERY annoying in my opinion. Next time I do this combo I'd probably try lowering the opium dose to 200mg or so.

I did nitrous a couple times and spent a few hours cuddling with my husband. This is a great drug combo for cuddling. Felt pretty exhausted physically. Chugging a small monster can did not help me into "doing stuff" mode.

Nausea hitting me really hard, just puked in the bucket. I guess the bennies wore off. Or maybe because I was writing a reddit post reply about MAL nausea and the memory made me vomit.

The worst of the comedown is over! For some reason it's a much harsher comedown than a usual LSD comedown and also I feel more aware of the aftereffects. The tail end high of the opium didn't really help soften the landing. Time to hydrate and make sure I get enough sleep and nutrition!
