Q: I heard the other day of a drug referred to as "Shurm", but I had never heard of it before, and I cannot find it in any reference books or web pages. I think it is a slang term, but have you ever heard of it, or something that sounds like that?

A: As with many slang terms, there's no single definitive meaning. We have heard the term 'shurm' used to refer to cigarettes dipped in PCP. It's also possible that it is used to refer to cigarettes altered with any other psychoactive substance such as hash oil.
