What are the effects of recreational use of lorazepam?
Q: I have recently obtained the anti-anxiety drug lorazepam. What sort of effects can I expect from the recreational use of this drug (sedation? euphoria?)

A: Most anti-anxiety drugs ending in -pam are quite similar to valium (diazepam). Depending on your dosage, you can expect sedation, some mild body euphoria, disequilibrium, hampered motor functions, slurred speech and fuzzing of memory. They are generally safe drugs, though moderation is the key to any responsible use.
