Can one make LSD from Foster's beer?
Q: Can LSD be made from Foster's Beer? I read an article which said it can.

A: First off, ergot is a fungus, not a virus. Second, LSD is very diffucult to make. No ifs ands or buts about it. You cannot make LSD from Foster's beer. Foster's beer does *not* contain ergot-containing grains, or else you would get very ill from drinking it (see "ergotism"). I would not recommend trying any "kitchen chemistry" or "easy synthetic method" posted anywhere without at least a basic knowledge of chemistry, and even then, preferably organic chemistry and above.
