What is 'Crystal T'?
Q: I have recently come in contact with an unusual drug. It was introduced to me as 'crystal t', but is not the same as another drug i've heard called crystal t. I thought crystal t was predominantly pcp. This other drug is elephant tranquilizer...it's in a powder form.

The first time i took this drug, a week ago, i took one bump. i felt like i was in a k hole for a day. the second time i took it, me and my fiance, scott, split a half gram. we also smoked weed and did one line of coke each. scott said he couldnt describe the high other than he felt scattered. my experience was my body, soul and mind being separated. my body danced to the music uncontrollably. i could see my mind sitting in a corner accross the room from me trying to keep itself sane and screaming at my body to breathe. my spirit was led on a journey ending with a vision of hell. i was scared and i think im lucky to be alive, but it wasnt really a bad experience. it lasted about 5 hours from the time i took it untill i passed out. i felt like rubber the entire next day.

If you know anything about this drug, i would be interested in the information. thank you.

fairlight.

ps- anyone else who comes across this drug... only take small doses, please! (one bump only!)

A: We have only heard the term 'Crystal T' used to refer to PCP. PCP has been used as an animal tranquilizer, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what the substance was. It's extremely difficult to identify an unknown substance from a single description of its effects, but from what you write, it seems most likely that it was PCP.
