After reading a lack in good recipes (yucky ones) I thought id pass along this one: cut, pull spines (in bolivia they are huge and painful) peel skin and scrape the inner mush for a quarter of an inch, or till it gets "fibery" cuz we cant use fiber in this. Now simply dry in air or heat, the "goo" which was scraped. if totaly dry, its rock hard, and can be crushed to powder for capsulizing or raw. Eat 10-30 marble sized ones for high level effects.
ps...I find this to be a weak cactus compared to N.american peyote, so worry little about going over, besides, did you visit the circus just to ride the carrosel?
