Erowid is where I start my search when I begin research on any drug. It's a WONDERFUL resource! The main reason I am writing this today, though, is because I just logged on for the first time today and saw the new start-up page. I like it!
I'd really like to see more information on certain pharmaceutical drugs. For instance, why is there no information on carisoprodol (Soma)? Why are there no experience reports for alprazolam (Xanax)?? I'm having to learn about these things the hard way! ;)

I just want to say thankyou to all the people who work so hard on the site - I have been sitting here reading for almost 2 hours, and this is the best informative on drugs I have ever come across. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!! I smoke pot occasionally and the facts about marijuana clear up so much stuff that I have heard, that has been going around, etc...I can't thankyou enough. My friend has recently told me about this new substance in which he has encountered. He told me that it is only found in cornfields. It is a flowering plant. It has a spiny bud, when opened there are many seeds.

He said that by eating a handfull or two of these seeds you experience a voyage like no other. He said he believed completly conscious of the world around him while experiencing occurances that never occured. At one point he had a deep spiritual conversation with his sister, who seemed to be lying next to him on his bed. In reality she in the entrance to his room not even speaking, neverless to him. He said after the bug out of that experience he began to meditate and for the next half and hour to hour he experienced complete togetherness and was brought to a spiritual platue, by halucinations, audio, visual and mental. He said that the one side effect was severe cotton mouth and the need to drink constantly. I have never saw or even heard of this substance before. I was wondering if you knew anything about it, its chemistry, its health risks or legality. The substance is a flowering plant only found in cornfields, with a spiny bud whose seeds produce a mystical halucinagenic effect, it is commonly known as Loco Weed, to people who have done it. If anyone knows anything about this substance, please e-mail me or post it on this site. Thanks alot.

Thank you for ure wonderfull work, do to your hard work i've been able to sort out facts from b.s. about the spiritual tools I use. Also i use your sight to research any substance before using. Within the last month of getting off U.A.'s the D.A. put me on for possesing a single bowl of low grade marijuana ( 1st offence ever), i have rolled 4 times and candyflipped once and due to the reliable and accurate information you provide have had safe and healthy experiences and know through my experiences that the 6 pills I've ingested contained M.D.M.A and not a cheap substitute. If i were not 16 i would work for erowid for less than $25thousand a year. Also because of your hard work I've learned not to roll to often. Interesting note L.S.D. and Psilocybin did not show up on any of my u.a's not even the advanced one's which they gave me because of a false hot u.a (poss for opium, poppy seed rolls were the culprit). I feel for you mister. But you have to understand, you said yourself that the people have the right to read this or to not read this. Don't lash out at a website that your son may never had been to. There are many deaths each year, some of them the result of overdosing on drugs, others car accidents, others plane crashes. This site is a masterpiece worthy of report sitable facts and real lifetime experiences. I have gained an increased awareness of my favorite type of substance UPPERS, and realize that there is no perfection in a pill. The closest thing is coke, actually pure coke and meth combined. Well anyways i just wanted to know if anyone out there could give me the recipe for Crystals. I think that beating addiction is inherent to the self reliant, the proactive, and the self Actualizer. I would like to comment on the submitted comment by "Dad"...

May I just say, that the choice was your sons, and without the vaults here, he could have gone about very easily ODing off of 2C-T-7. Without this vault many people wouldnt be using safely, although he may have learned about the substance from this site, he is the one that choose to use it, atleast there are sites on the internet that has the goal of informing properly, this is not crap on this site, this is the truth. And without it, many people would suffer.

Your statements are arrogant, but I can see why, considering the untimely death of your son. But you sir, should think about how this site has helped so many people. Instead of blaming it for allowing others to view the truth. What they do with it, is their own choice.
So far, I would like to see the dates of the information provided and when the vaults were made and updated. As well as added information on the following substances: DiPT, 5-MeO-AMT, 2C-T-2, and BZP. Once again, I will be doing testing on certain items, but my funds have been put on hold. So until i receive enough to do a fair amount of testing, I will not begin. Once I do however, I will supply all of my information regarding the testing directly to your vaults.

Just one more comment: I've seen a lot of people in this guestbook quoting amounts less than 10mg of substances... How do you measure such small quantities? Have you actually gotten a $1000 digital scale or something? I got a $20 Calibron 4 gram scale that has accuracy to 1/20 gram (50 mg), but that's it. And I even doubt that. And with things like 2CT7 and 2CT2, I would like a much higher level of accuracy and precision. Can anyone recommend a scale with accuracy something between 0.01 and 0.001 grams? I don't have a lot of money to blow on a scale (though it wouldn't truly be "blowing" because it's all in the name of safety). I got it mainly for measuring quantities of Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, for which it is sufficiently precise (measuring out for caps of 200 mg each), and herbal supplements (garlic), which you don't even really need a scale for. I have looked at http://www.balances.com/ but couldn't find anything actually affordable. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Since I discovered this site 9 months ago, I have read from it voraciously, amassing most of my information concerning drugs as a direct or indirect result of having looked at this website. I discovered the wonderful book, PIHKAL, through this site, and I am now very happy that I bought it. I found out about organizations such as MAPS (http://www.maps.org/) and the Alchemind Society (http://www.alchemind.org/), and I am thinking about joining them now. I am a college student, and in such an environment, I find drug use to be rather widespread, and sometimes quite intense. However, I have also found that most people who use drugs rarely know anything about the drugs they are using until well after they have used them, if they find anything out about them at all (besides the subjective experience of it). Erowid.org is now my favorite site, and I proudly display it in my AIM profile, as well as recommending it to anyone who is remotely interested in information about drugs. Having read many things on this site and sites that branch off, I consider myself to have at least a working knowledge of many of the popular drugs in use around me, and many of the people I know have gone to me for information because they are curious themselves. They may have already used some of the drugs, and would like to find out what they do, or they're thinking about experimenting, and would like to be more informed. By and large, with the exception of only one person, every person I know who has experience using drugs has told me they wish they would do what I am doing, reading thoroughly about the drugs before using them. I can't stress strongly enough to them how important it is to know about drugs before you use them, just for maximum safety. Many, many, many people never read a sentence about what they're doing, and never appear to have problems, but I still feel it is good to read about them. It's amazing how many people believe some of the tripe that is forced down their throats through many of the anti-drug campaigns in America today; I know, because I was one of them. But I feel liberated in reading about drugs through Erowid. I have given up alcohol after reading how much more harmful it is than most illegal drugs I could be doing. Thank you Erowid. This sight is one of the best things besides dancesafe - It has changed my mind about doing many drugs that would of hurt me, and mixing drugs that would of killed me. It also changed my mind about taking some mushrooms I found that I found out the week after would of killed me, when my friend took the same type of mushroom (in a totally unrealated inncodent) and was hospitalized with kidney failure. I thought you should know. Your site and the information on it was in part responsible for the death of my son. I read what you put up about the 2c-t-7 death in Norman, Oklahoma. Most of the facts you are getting are not true but what can you expect from people whose whole point in life is to escape life as it is presented to them. Unfortunately, you will still be able to influence those weak individuals using this site and its information. Just like my son, they will have the option to ignore or use your information. That's what free speech is all about. I don't suppose anyone that is using this site, therefore rebelling against what is lawful and right, has any idea the cost incurred for their right to read the crap your site puts out. Without knowing the potency or average dose(or the amount I was doing, for that matter), I had an LSA trip. I was tripping for approx. 168 hours(seven days). There is reference in Erowid to Shamanism and the spiritual uses of LSA, but no in-depth explanation. Where can I find this information, and is there a good reference source on LSA in which there are descriptions of extended trips and common themes thereof? I've been able to find very little information on the subject.

I checked your info about contac pills having dxm alone and all the contacs I found had at least pseudoephedrine in them. Pseudoephedrine gets really nasty in large doses when you use it daily. I have searched for over a decade for dxm in pill form without psephedr. in it but have had no luck. I guess I'll just have to stick with sucking down gallons of syrup in robo max strength cough.

ya, ummmmm.......my friend is in some deep shit now, he is in what you call a permanant trip, and it gets worse by the day. his second time tripping on acid he took a ten strip of mikes and from what we know those are equal to 2.5 hits of regular blotter. that really fried his brain, then he keep tripping and then on his 5th or 6th time tripping he took 32 hits of the same stuff, he was never the same after that. a while after that when he would smoke and he would start tripping, i didnt believe him until he started getting worse and worse. then it started to happen when he drank beer or any alcohol. now he will see colors for no reason, he talked to his pediatric doctor and he has no damn clue what to do...i dont either, i dont want to see my best friend like this for any longer, so if anybody that reads this who can do me a huge favor, and tell me what i can do and who to take him to see? if you even know someone who knows what to do email me and let me know. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>NoPe1AcS@address_removed>

Once again I would ask for more items to be added to the vaults. I have come across a substance not covered by you or as far as I can tell by anyone else. Just wanted to say that this page is probably the most informative on the net.
I think you should add a section concerning drug combinations (e.g. LSD + Cocaine + Cannabis), which should list highly enjoyable drug combinations as well as dangerous or lethal ones. This would definitely aid in safe usage. By the way, an excellent combination is the one listed above, with LSD as the highest dosage taken, Cannabis in the middle, and Cocaine as the least (but still an efficient amount). This is a really cool site with tons of useful info. Hope y'all get this! The 3d Molicule of Scopolamine is messed up! The Molecular weight says 303.35, but when drawn in Hyperchem and tested it was 305.37. After doing some research I found that it is in the O-O bound towards the center. That is not what it is suppose to be! Just trying to inform you that you need to fix that Scopolamine. does anyone know of any prescription drug that would be fairly easy to obtain that would give the same effect as methamphetimines cause I really would rather take something that is cleaner and my guess a hell of alot cheaper than a trip down the street twice a week to my "friend" I have full health insurance at my work so I can get prescriptions cheap. a freind of mine gave me a small roach i was going to smoke it with a freind but ended up having it to myself whatever this shit was i dont know but everyone in the TX area calls it yellow creeper this shit is freaky i recall the experiance,i almost had a hart attack after i got the buzz cuz my whole body went numb like coke or pcp starting with my neck and i also got a freaky pounding in my chest i cuoldt stop moving mostly cause of the pounding was scaren the shit out of me i already have an irregular heartrate caused from years of coke...after this effect went away i noticed i seemed to be able to see through my eyelids but everything was distoreted and funny and when i opend them i got a felling i cant explaine the girl i was with was freaking out cause of all the weird shit i was doing also i remember looking at her and her face wuold change in to someone else....i then started passing out mid conversation and repeating some of the same sentences....i finelly passed out completly and woke at 7:00 in an ash trey and still fucked up passed out againe on the couch mimerised half a movie by adiuo (script) i had never seen before woke againe still fucked up went home....and staed fucked up for two or three days if this was'nt laced god damb it was some good weed can anyone uot there give me some info on this shit called yellow creeper.

i discovered AMBIEN can be used as an "abort switch" for psychdelic trips. i have successfully ended at least 4 of my trips (hey, i had to do things the next day... i needed sleep, ok?) and i administered 10mg of AMBIEN to someone who had ingested waaaay too much LSD and it seemed to snap her right out of it cuz she chewed it. she was able to sleep. also, i have taken 20mg of AMBIEN and noticed a very familiar pattern crawling across most surfaces, very LSD like. i would absolutely LOVE to see erowid add some information on this wonderful drug. and i am anxiously waiting to try that cannibis combo.

I have grown in love with your site. The info found here is priceless when accurate. It seems that no where else in life is such information about drugs so easily accessible. How often can you find info at your local library about drug testing? Its just too damn difficult. The internet is a whole different story. I admire the hard work. I have been greatly indulged from my readings. Before I was just a user that had all too many myths about drugs in my head. Now I have read otherwise, and I can only wait and see if it is true. I just have one suggestion: This page contains a lot of information from many different sources. Therefore, a dictionary of terminology should be made. I am not an expert on medical/scientific lingo, but I would love to learn what a "ug" is in terms of units of measurements for chemicals. For instance, what can a "ug" be compared to? Also, I was once told how a smoker's system is cleared when they use Quick Flush tablets. It had something to do with a lot of oxygens and carbons making up a big chain. When you smoke the chain is broken, and the tabs reconnect them...is this true? If it is, could you give more elaborate details about that process?

I read a guestbook comment asking to talk about the effects of ambien. It has been prescribed to me for about a year now, and i truly enjoy it. At first, i would swollow a 5mg tablet at night (its a sleeping pill) and if i would stay up, i would feel very tired, but I would also experience an incredible mood elevation. After a while, i started to mix it with hydrocodone or percodan, which would create a very trippy experience. A little while later, i tried snorting it. This has been my favorite method, and i have been doing this for about 6 months now. Less than a minute after snorting the ambien, i would feel very different. I felt energetic, happier, bolder, and lost all sense of inhabition. This is one of the best "highs" I have ever experienced. As for the downside, the loss of inhabition can lead you to doing things you would never dream of doing normally. Also, tolerancy sets in very quickly. If i do 5mg once a day for 2 days, the third day i will need 10. While on it, I also will continue to take it. After geting 10 cut and ready, i was sure i would not need anymore. After taking it, i ended up taking 20mg more. It will burn the nose alot when snorted, and will lead to great short term memory loss. The most serious side effect from overdose is the stopping of one's heart. I have taken up to 60mg without experiencing an overdose, but everybody is different, and for some people, any ambien is too much. Other adverse reactions are increase in violent tendancies and very nervous reactions with nightmare filled sleep. Thost type of reactions only occcur in some people, but they occur everytime those people take it. I hope you have found what i had to say informative. Thank you and good night.

I happen to live in ArgentinA and came across a batch of green Tulips... they're round green pills with the tulip marked to the outside (is this clear?mmm) this is a good pill.... I don't know if it's Mdma because it leaves you felling right but just lying there with one of your eyes semi-open and pressing your jaw.... don't mind taking it again, but they're hard to your stomach.....

Hi Erowid and readers, just happen to cross your site AGAIN (it's my homepahe) to tell you that really this is the best site that I have ever seen it has all the information I've been looking for since I smoked my first joint. I wanna thank you because you are one of the reasons I quit being a naive drug user to become an experienced psiconaut... Back in 1996, I used to to drugs just to get fucked up, and say "this is crazy!" and stuff like that.... now what I see is myself in pursuit of the thruth, the ultimate reality, the beauty of the natural things... One thing.... the other day I had the chance to try 2CT7, oral and insuflatted, and I recommend to you to do the oral. When insuflated the dose is minimal, in the 5-8mg range, but it had some EXTREME BODY LOAD!!! twiches, tremors, nausea and a lot of tension..... all of this for the first two house. I couldn't apreciate the visuals beacouse of the intensity of this bodyload.... the next hours were more caml, a LOT OF VISUALS, but not the tipe of visuals you get with the cubensis or LSD.... they had a lot of colors, purples and violets, bright greens, but much of it were trailers and persistence of vision... like seeing layers of ghost images over the new ones..... hard to explain... but when it was happening, I was so tense that it bothered me... well that's it Thank You and keep up the good Spirit!
