I do not understand my tolerance to medication such as Soma. I also take Gabapentin (1200mg), Mobic, Ibuprofen 800s, and Cymbalta. I suffer from severe neuropathy and nerve trauma. I suffer from pain every moment of the day and night for the past seven years. I have taken up to seven Soma 350's at once and only feel numbness in the lips for about thirty minutes. I suppose I have conditioned my body to these meds and no longer get the relief it is supposed to bring.
On one of my really bad days, I took four Ibuprofen 800s, six Soma 350s, two Mobic 25mg, 120mg of Cymbalta, along with the 1200mg of Gabapentin, and smoked a quarter ounce of high grade hydro marijuana; all at one time. I felt a little sleepy for about an hour, but that was all. I am at the end of my rope. I really just want to end my life…it is just too much already. I am getting worse and seemingly more useless to my family. sigh
