In order to give you some background of my current condition, I'll start with a brief medical history. I've been prescribed Prozac on and off for the past year to treat my OCD-like behavior. I'm currently off Prozac, but have been prescribed a 25mg dose of Seroquel each night before bed when needed. I'll be skipping on the Seroquel tonight due to the already sedating properties of the Diphenhydramine I'm about to ingest.

I set up a nice place for me to trip, so that I could guide the experience into an educational and enlightening direction. I made my queen size bed, and changed into comfortable clothing. I then smoked about 1 gram of cannabis throughout a 3 hour period while listening to music, before taking the Diphenhydramine.

At 1:10 A.M. on a Saturday night I took 3 Tylenol PM tablets that each contained 25 mg of diphenhydramine plus 500 mg of acetaminophen (Yes, I am aware this can affect the liver, but I made sure to avoid any alcoholic drinks that day in order to decrease my chances of any complications.) I've been smoking cannabis on a regular basis, at least two times a week, for the past year or so. I have a lot of experience with cannabis, but diphenhydramine tripping is relatively new to me. I figured that I would start off on a low dose considering this fact. I was quite open to the possibilities that diphenhydramine might offer.

1:40 A.M. - I've started to feel the effects. My eyes feel more sunken and my pupils have become slightly dilated. I'm aware of a light, but bearable nausea. It's becoming hard to concentrate on the keyboard. The sedating effects have kicked in already, probably due to my low tolerance for diphenhydramine. Thinking clearly is becoming a bit more difficult, but it can be managed with effort. Waves of euphoria pulse through me, while music enhances this effect and seems to come alive. Words and sounds have become more intimate and can be easily related to my own situation. Trance music is especially well received by my earbuds. My eyes feel they are gradually getting heavier. My muscles have become relaxed and I have a tendency to twitch every now and then. If I close my eyes, I have a keen awareness of a detachment of my consciousness from my body. They seem to develop into two different entities separate of one another.

1:45 A.M. - Becoming difficult to focus on written text, music still sounds amplified.

2:00 A.M. - Becoming even more difficult to type because of the expected ensuing drowsiness. I am still feeling euphoric. Took 2 more hits of cannabis from my glass tobacco pipe.

3:00 A.M. - I either sat here, or slept and woke up and didn't remember doing so, because it now is 3 A.M and I have no recollection of the last hour.

3:10 A.M. - Closed my eyes to listen to music and went into a state of trance. My thoughts have measurably slowed. It feels like sleep will follow shortly.

12:00 P.M. the next day - Woke up feeling refreshed, no noticeable ongoing effects.
