This happened recently not to me but to a friend of mine.

I have been smoking marijuana since 2004 and this is the first time I see or experience anything like this before.

It was a monday night and I was heading to my cousins house for some bbq. When I got there, my cousins kid was sick so she asked me if I could go to the store for medicine, of course I agree and my other cousin and his brother in law come with me. Now they both knew that I smoked weed, so I wasnt surprised when the brother in law asked me if I had any trees.

I say yea and pull out 2 joints of afghoo, a very strong indica. I spark it up and take a hit then pass it to the brother in law. Just for the mental picture, we are driving in a single cab pickup truck so its kind of a small space. Anyway he takes a hit and then passes it back, I take another hit and so does he. Then this is where it gets crazy, about a minute after that hit I look over and he's passed out, I panic and toss the joint because I know something is wrong.

My cousin wakes him up and he starts asking us what was in the joint and starts touching his chest telling us to feel how fast his heart is beating. At this point he covers his eyes and starts yelling incoherently about 'fucking up' and 'staying like this forever'.

I start telling my cousin to pull over quick and before I finish telling him, his brother in law starts to pull at his own hair and then punches the dashboard while yelling like crazy.

It was scary to me because he would sort of 'black out' and act crazy then he would be passed out and wake up totally fine, asking us questions like 'we were just at my house right? Making hot dogs right guys?' and we of course try to calm him down, but he kept blacking out sort of like episodes.

We finally get off the freeway and out of nowhere he pushes against my cousin which is driving and towards the passenger side window sort of like trying to get out but since the window was down he kept pushing himself toward it until he was in the fetal position and on top of me. I dont skip a beat and bearhug the fool until my cousin finally finds apartments with a big grassy field in the front.

We pull over and once I open the window he falls out, he's passed out again so he's limp. When he wakes up he rolls under the truck and starts kicking and screaming things like 'my babies, they are gonna die, nooo!' just straight up delusional things like that.

He calms down for about 10 minutes so we think he is fine, so we decide to just not go to the store for medicine and just go home, but as soon as we start going he starts bobbing his head to the music and gets extremely violent again. So we stop immediatly and take him to the grass field again, this time people pass by and he's laying on his back pretending he's on a bike or something but with his eyes closed and hands crossed over his chest.

We get him back to the truck to lay him down and let him sleep for 10 minutes when he wakes up he throws up like 4 times. At this point he is completely fine, ready to go home.

We get to his house and he's passed out again so in my head I was thinking 'o shit what am I going to tell my cousin she is never going to trust me again' but when he wakes up he's fine and goes straight to his room to pass out.

I read up on it the day after it happened and found out that it was a psychotic episode most likely due to the alcohol use before smoking and being on an empty stomach.

I still smoke but am never going to share my trees with anyone else even friends, the herb is powerful and should be used responsibly.
