I know what you're thinking. That can't be right; 156 mg of kava!? Well yes it is right.

I ordered pre-made Kava tea bags each with 78mg of Kava. After reading that the active kavalactones are 'ruined' by temperatures exceeded 140 degrees F, I was careful when preparing my tea. I didnt let the water boil but I managed to find a spot between warm and hot.

From there I steeped two tea bags into the water for about ten minutes. The smell was great. After letting it cool a little more, I started drinking. Within 5 minutes the tea was gone. Some people don't like the taste, but this tea comes with added flavors that made it delicious.

About half an hour later I started to feel 'light' and not as concerned about things in my life. Nothing 'strong' but a noticeable and comfortable change in my mood.
