My brother has been battling an addiction with DXM for several years now. He has told me that he is not afraid to not take excessive doses of DXM but is afraid of who he will be without the drug. He is now in the hospital going through treatment because his entire life has folded underneath him with everyone around him recognizing his abuse except for him.

I've had my robo-trips in the past, I've had alot of drunken nights, weeks, months. I cannot imagine what kind of loneliness and experiences my brother has gone through. My mother was forced to clean out his apartment at his place of work, where he was fired for his obvious abuse of alcohol and corecedin. She discovered HUNDREDS of empty boxes of corecedin (SP?)

Let it be known people that it can be addictive, don't be stupid, be smart. Thank god he doesn't have brain damage for how many times he's used and hope that this is the end.
