I had been saving up to do shrooms for a while when my friend gave me a call and told me that he could give me a good deal on some gold caps. So I went to his house and pitched in $20 plus a few more for a friend of mine; we all planned on tripping for the first time together. I guess there were about 7 different people there at the time, but Im not sure because I was busy hitting the bowl. Anyways, we all drove up to the closest gas station to get some orange jusice and munchies because orange juice suposabily increases your high on shrooms.

The moment we got back to the house we ate our shrooms. I remember how they tasted sorta like card board, but if you chewed them for long enough and drank a little bit of orange juice it was just fine. I ate about an eighth, a few of my friends only ate a half eighth, but I normally have a higher tolerance anyway.

We just hung out for about an hour and waited for the trip to start, when mine hit me hard. I noticed that the walls were breathing and my friends smiles were changing colors. I could litteraly feel every little sound, and everything had some sorta rythym to it. Talk about weird. And I swear, I had an out of body experience! Everyone says that I was sitting down on the couch up stairs, but all I remember is walking down the stairs to answer the door for some reason. To this day I still am not sure if I was really on the couch or answering the door.

I was loving the trip so far, and it seemed like all my friends were thinking the same. We sorta just sat there and laughed while we pointed out different things, such as the breathing walls and how cool it would be if the celing fan was going so fast that we might blast off into space or something like that. For some reason the celing fan started to creep me out, so I asked my friend to turn it off. Once she did, my whole trip changed.

I started to see really scary things, cutts were appearing on my arm, and my feet were stuck together like a mermaid. The colors around me were really vibrant, and everything had some sort of colored glow to it. Weird. A few hours later I took a few hits from the hookah and passed out. When I woke up in the morning for wake and bake, I still felt like I was tripping, so I just sorta layed there like a lazy stoner for a while, untill I was prety much bored and sober.

Even though I was scared for a while, nothing is quite like mushrooms, and when I wasn't freaking out it was really fun.

My advice to anyone who is thinking about taking shrooms for the first time is to take a small dosage, take them someplace where you feel safe and comfortable, be with people you feel safe with, and NEVER take them when you are upset.
