I have tripped twice on LSD and a few times on mushrooms and none of the above were ever bad trips. On the subject of flashbacks, yes, I've had them but usually only when I'm very inebriated and high.. But only when at the same time. It seems like when I'm in this state, my mind is loose enough to re-live those tripping experiences. Certain objects (ie: woodgrain, parallel lines, complex patterns) begin to ripple and morph slightly or I notice a new nature of the complex pattern which I could not focus on before. I'm used to this happening and I can basically control it rather than letting the flashback slip away. I find it fun and interesting and not at all disconcerting. It's been a few months since my last trip and these flashbacks are harder to embrace than before. No explanation as to why.
