I have taken 5-meo-dipt in many ROAs, insufflated (which I regretted), oral up to 21mg, and rectally. However smoking it grants the best high. Oral and rectal administration just makes me feel uncomfortable and anxious, but smoking is a much better experience.

Previously I had attempted but failed to freebase the fumarate salt using diluted lye, but I only yielded a small amount of yellow oil that evaporated before I could try and crystalize it. I resolved to just smoke the fumarate salt, with the miniscule volume of powder needed and using a water filtered pipe, I considered the potential danger of inhaling fumarates to be miniscule. I had already smoked a bowl of good quality cannabis, the strain was "pink kush". and a couple shots of pretty weak whiskey, just 8.5% alc. I emptied an 8mg capsule onto a bed of cannabis, just a dusting of fine powder, then topped it with keif, filling the half gram bowl.

The smoke tasted really nice to me, I liked the sweet indole flavor, very similar to good quality DMT. It only took two large hits to get me very high. The first effect I noticed was the visual distortions, which I otherwise only achieve from taking a high dose orally. They were stronger when smoked, I first noticed that the sky was much more rich in color, the sunset was hyper-real. Slight patterning of gravel and grass but not as strong as the visuals from different tryptamines.

The most unique OEV was that the smoke I was exhaling was turning into tight cartoonish spirals. After the third hit I felt spun, I was not capable of walking or coordinating despite the strong stimulation. I closed my eyes and embraced the euphoric roll. The CEVs were abstract red and blue splotches, constantly moving. The breeze of the late afternoon on a summer day was very nice. The peak of the +++ high came and went fairly quickly, lasted about 20 minutes, but its hard to decipher time in that state.

The nervous system has a heightened response to stimuli under the influence of foxy, which lasted into the comedown, this unfortunately made the comedown fairly uncomfortable, I could feel every mosquito bite at once, and the texture of my clothes became irritating. A slight headache, anxiety and lingering visual distortions lasted about an hour after the intense euphoric peak. I slept fine 3 or 4 hours afterwards, after I took my prescription trazadone, 150mg. ( I dont recommend mixing trazadone with the drugs I took, but I personally didn't experience any negative effects.)

Compared to other ROAs I would consider this my favorite. Nasal is disgusting, the drip burns and makes me gag. Rectal takes more preparation than I like but reduces the nausea. Oral makes my heart speed up, just to about 91, but with the anxiety it seems worse. But smoking, although fairly fiendish, gives the best bang for your buck.
