At the time of this experience I was and still am a fairly experienced psychonaut. I had used LSD more times than I can count, and mushrooms around 2 or 3 times. Although I had a decent amount of experience with LSD, it had always felt like a fun recreational empathogen, and besides the visuals, it never had any spiritual or real profound mental effects. This all changed on the night I dropped 3 tabs.

T + 0:00: I drop a tab and a half and wait for the effects to kick in.

T+ 30:00: The initial effects start to linger around me. My palms start to sweat. I start to get light headed and a general feeling of dissociation starts to consume me.

T+ 45:00: I decided I wanted some stronger effects so I popped another tab and a half, totalling me at 300 ug.

T+ 1:00: The effects start to become extremely strong, stronger than i had ever experienced. I started to hear a high pitched noise continuing to raise pitch and increase in speed, very reminiscent of DMT. I was almost paralyzed in the sense that I was just sitting there being consumed by the seemingly infinite fractals where the once bland and inconspicuous carpet had been.

T+ 1:30: My mom asks me if I wanted to get some pizza, and not wanting to seem like I was fucked up I mustered up all of my strength to tell her “sure”. She ordered the pizza and we left the house. She told me that she had had a few beers so she wanted me to drive. If I had told her that I couldn’t she would have instantly known that I was fucked up. So I made probably the most stupid decision of my life and decided to drive the 3 miles to the pizza place while on LSD. Driving was very, very strange. The roads and how everything worked felt like one big machine. Like every person and every car, all came together on the road to form one massive mechanic system. Thankfully we made it to the pizza place and back safely.

T+ 2:10: I put on the album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” by the Beatles. Listening to music produced electric sensations throughout my body, it almost felt orgasmic, like I was part of the music. I went outside while listening to this and the trees looked so majestic, and for the first time in my life I truly realized that they are alive. For the next few hours I just laid in my bed listening to music getting lost in the intense closed eye visuals.

T+ 4:30: I decided to take a few hits of my THC cart and this is where the trip skyrocketed in intensity. There is an abstract painting above my couch and I looked at it and it started moving so much that I was in disbelief. I almost went paralyzed. I opened up snapchat on my phone and I just sat there on the camera page staring at my own face. I had the most intense tunnel vision of my life. I could see every single pore on my face. I decided to just lay down and see what happened. I heard ancient chanting and saw my ancestors fighting some ancient battles. This was a very weird experience. I closed my eyes and realized the truth of the universe. Every single thing has infinite complexity. I thought back to the trees I saw earlier and I literally went down to the cellular levels and the trees were made up of infinite, DMT like fractals; This was extremely intense. For the remainder of the trip I just laid down getting lost in the infinite fractals that I saw when I closed my eyes.

All and all this was a very intense experience and I will remember it for the most of my life.
