DOSE:
1 - 2 glass oral Alcohol - Beer/Wine (daily)
  1 - 2 tsp oral Kratom (daily)
BODY WEIGHT: 130 lb
I'm a 48 year old woman, moderate drinker (glass or two of wine each night) but don't do any other drugs. A friend had some Kratom which I tried. The first time nothing happened, but the second time I felt a little euphoric, and then my kratom journey began.

Kratom is legal where I live so I purchased a red, white, and green vein. After several tests, I found that White Horn worked the best for me.

DOSAGE & EFFECTS:
I take 1/2 - 1 tsp in hot water and swig it down in one shot once cooled off enough. The most significant effect is that it completely eliminates a chronic and sometimes debilitating pain in my shoulder/scapula and, in fact, throughout my whole body. I am also able to focus on whatever task is at hand. I don't really get high, but I do feel a little more happy and relaxed, but not sleepy. I have not tried large doses.

I use the red strain to help me sleep. The red doesn't relieve pain as much as the white for me.

I suffer from PMS/perimenopause, and kratom has been a life-saver for that. It helps reduce cravings and irritability.

I'm a little worried because I am taking it twice a day, every day. I've become very dependent on it to eliminate the pain that nothing else seems to help, and I refuse to take any strong opiates etc. which I'm sure are far worse than Kratom.

My strategy is to try 1 week on, 1 week off, and just deal with the pain every other week.
