Having tried Metocin and MDMA on their own, a rising curiosity grew on me on their combined effects. I was to reunite with an old friend who had moved abroad and a couple with whom I shared many memories together. We were going to a deep house music festival. The two girls had limited experiences with psychedelic substances, one of them, A, only tried ayahuasca and MDMA each once, while the other, B, only had a couple of experiences with MDMA. My buddy C and I are fellow psychonauts and had done many psychedelics together. He had never tried Metocin, and after my review of the substance he was quite eager to indulge in it.
We gather at Cís place and were quite excited to see A, we had not seen her in over 2 years. After her arrival we all hugged, sat down, chatted for a bit, and then I introduced them to my ideas of substance use for the night. The two girls were not sure about what they were going to experience but feeling joyful and excited trusted my advice. I gave them multivitamins and told them that if someone freaks out, Iíd have benzos to bring them back from a bad trip. I just wanted to make sure we all had a good time.
Itís 8pm and we are heading to the festival. We all took different amounts of Metocin. The girls were dosed 15 mg each, and us boys did 25 mg since we were bigger and more experienced. Nobody complained much about the slight bitter taste of the substance, and we were about to embark in a memorable voyage of laughter, bonding, and peace.
We arrive at the festival and we are all feeling quite cold. There are some large pillows in the rest area and we all put on eyes on them. We are feeling quite light and laying down on those pillows felt amazing.
The substance is taken power over our psyches. Objects are waving, we are waving. We created a human ball of warmth among ourselves laying on those pillows. We felt great. We felt as if we were one organism with multiple synchronized consciousness. The trip is coming up subtly but surely.
We forgot about the festival behind of us, we forgot about everything else that did not exist in the little world we had just created together. The girls are having strong hallucinations and lots of laughter trying to describe what they were feeling. C and I just look at each other telepathically saying ďthis is a good experience, this is all goodĒ.
B described having beautiful emotions of love, nostalgia, and connectedness. She cried of joy and was at awe with her new discovery of psychedelic effects. C was completely blown by the hallucinations, she compared them with what she had seen with ayahuasca but said she feels more positive feelings on this substance. At some point C thinks that she will be like this forever, I assured her that it will not go beyond 5-6 hours. She manically laughs and keeps on tripping.
We check the time and we are all surprised that only 2 Ĺ hours have passed. It seemed like we had been born and raised on those pillows and that time had frozen infinitely while we were there. We take turns to go to the restroom. Each of us coming back thinking someone was shaking the stall from outside the bathroom. When I went in, I lost equilibrium and almost felt. We decided to go check each other out to make sure no one was moving the damn bathroom stall. I donít know what the effect on our brains was when we entered the bathroom, but it was fucking crazy. After finding out that we were just hallucinating the whole thing, we all just laughed and return to our pillow palace.
We want to move to the next part of the experience. Music is building up in the background and I had been wanting for a while to dance. CEVs had an amazing synchrony with the music, and I invite everyone to take their respective doses of MDMA. The girls took 125 mg of MDMA, and us boys took 150 mg.
The come up for this experience must have been the subtlest Iíve had on MDMA so far. It slowly took us over. We made a circle and started dancing soon after ingestion. The smiles on our faces slowly took form until we were all dancing freely. I must have danced the weirdest moves, but they felt so right, I felt my body was an instrument to the music, and I could not guide how I wanted to dance, my body simply moved as the music demanded.
By this time, I had forgotten completely of the outside world. I was having the most amazing CEVs that Iíve experienced in my life. I felt I was alone in a giant room with vibrating colored patterns as walls. The feeling of emptiness was incredible. The place was packed, but at the moment I closed my eyes Iím transported to a colorful empty space where all that exists is inner peace and a never felt before sense of tranquility. I donít know what nirvana must be, but this sure felt what had been described to me: Absolute and everlasting tranquility.
We are all so happy, we love each other so much. We hugged as a group and each person comments on how grateful they are to be surrounded by free spirited people. We felt a bond that will last forever. Our emotions are all in the right place. I suggest that whoever wanted to re-dose, itíd be a good time now. All of us except A re-dosed with 50 mg of MDMA to elongate the peak experience; it was a long music festival. A felt just right and said that she canít ask for a better experience, I understood her well, and we all kept on dancing and meditating.
After a while of dancing, we were all just meditating in the middle of the dance floor. I asked everyone about their experience and they were all in complete bliss. From an outsiderís perspective we must have looked like bored attendees. On the contrary, we were having one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives. At this point we want to be just by ourselves and decided to go back to Cís place to smoke some weed and listen to music in a comfortable couch.
We arrived at Cís place, smoked some weed, and put one of my favorite deep house sets by Viken Arman (White Ocean Sunset). We all basically fell half asleep to the music one next to the other on the couch. If someone talked, we all could respond, but we were individually exploring our minds and emotions.
We are all asleep at this point, we slowly transitioned from relaxed meditation into deep sleep in the most glorious way possible.
We woke up feeling great with an amazing afterglow of love and peace still within us. We are all thankful for the experience, and the consensus was that it was one of the best experiences we all have lived.
For this experiment I asked my friends to have a good diet and exercise the weeks prior with a good intake of multivitamins. I kept everyoneís dosages under 200mg of MDMA as promoted in many harm reductions sites. I tried to space out the substances so the tail of the Metocin would be followed by the come up of the MDMA; it seemed to have worked flawlessly. The day after nobody is feeling any type of hangover. We all went on to do our required activities and looked back with fondness to our lastís night adventures. I advised everyone to take 5-HTP 24 hours after the experience and for 3 days consecutively to see if there is a positive effect on the famous ďSuicide TuesdayĒ. By being measured we obtained the best results with minimized side effects.
Conclusion: This combination is magic for the soul. It was a better experience than Metocin or MDMA by themselves. I look forward in a couple of months, or when the time is right, to try this with my wife, who did not attend the event. Iím sure it will help us a great deal on our relationship.
I experienced sleep paralysis about 5 times 3-4 days after this experience. I also experienced some pressure in my head sometimes. These symptoms disappeared within 2 weeks after the experience.
