First Kanna Experience with Kanna Extract

Before trying the substance I tried to find out dosages and read a bit scientific Information about it. For testing the new substance, I had a couple of days off and planned on cycling and listening to music most of the day.

I used Cannabis, MDMA, LSD, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Guarana, Kratom, DXM, tobacco, alcohol and other prescription drugs for the sake of testing a new substance. I try to not abuse substances regularly and not develop a habit/addiction and only take substances every couple of weeks or months. At the time, I took kanna I had just a tolerance to caffeine.

On a day off, after relaxing a day in bed I took kanna extract (1 gram) for the first time with a low/medium dose. Weeks before, I tested the extract a couple of times with a dose of 0.01 sublingually
Weeks before, I tested the extract a couple of times with a dose of 0.01 sublingually
and it always caused a bit of immediate wakefulness when tired and strong, unusual drowsiness.

As often when testing new substances in low/medium dosages I took the first dosage of 0.05 gram after eating a little bit at 12 o´clock. Two hours later I took 0.05 g which is my typical dosage of cocaine I tested a couple of times.

Light effects started after 30 minutes, after oral consumption of the second dose, slowly became more, peaked after 2 hours, peak lasted 1 hour and then the effects slowly wore off within 3 hours. Six hours after I feel a bit more sedated and still calm and relaxed and drowsy.

Here are the very positive effects kanna produced:

Emotions: Elevated mood, great calmness, a bit euphoria and joy, slightly more at ease with communication with people, warmth/connection with others

Thinking: Clear, fast and structured thinking, new and good ideas for stuff to do or ideas that weren’t thought through before popped up and stayed in my mental to do list, not so much associative and clearer than with cannabis or alcohol. Also, less distracted by uncontrolled thoughts (thought inhibiting) or other visual stimulus like other people or cars. Alert, focused and calm, similar to ritalin/speed/cocaine, but more pleasant.

Physically: Warm body feeling, deep relaxation, a bit light headed/floaty but also very very drowsy.
Perception: Less distracted and music made me even more happy than usually.
Sexually: More interested and attracted to beautiful women rather than just being horny.

Negative effect:
Drowsiness 30-60 minutes before the onset of any of the effects and drowsiness after the effects. Rare and sudden hits of drowsiness when moving my head. I never experienced this before except when consuming DXM. I tried DXM a couple of times but stopped because 1-3x300mg had no effect except of heavy and terrible drowsiness, unlike any drowsiness I have experienced.
Also, a bit of a dry mouth. And there was not any come down of hangover effects.

In conclusion, kanna´s effects were a bit like a low dose of 60 to 70mg of 92% MDMA, but much more slowly coming and going. Shared effects are: Pleasant, relaxed and warm body feeling and feeling good, euphoric, alert and relaxed and calm at the same time and more at ease with connecting to other people. On this day, I was in a neutral mood but a bit tired. This definitely changed because of the kanna effects.
