This article reports a preliminary study of the use of posthypnotic suggestion to produce states similar to those produced by the substance methylenedioxy-N- methylamphetamine (MDMA), a psychoactive drug of the phenethylamine fmnily (Shulgin & Shulgin 1991; Shulgin 1986).
