J. Psychol.. 1955;39:465.
Abstract

PROBLEM: The effects of LSD on the solution of simple combinations of addition and subtractions

MATERIAL: 12 non-psychotic subjects (6F, 6 M), Age range 21-33.

DOSAGE: The tests were carried out 4 times with at least 1 week intervals between tests. The first test was carried out after placebo, the 2nd after 50 ug LSD orally, the 3rd after_lOO ug LSD and the 4th after placebo. The tests were carried out approx. 1 1/2 hours after the drug was given.

RESULTS: Scores in tests varied inversely with the dose, i.e. the higher the dose, the lower the score. Scores under the various doses were significantly different frcm each other in 5 of 6 comparisons made. There was no significant difference in the number of errors made under the various doses of LSD. One subject commented \\\\
