Abstract
Over the past 4 years the author has investigated the effect of LSD (usually 25-50 mcg. orally) in the same 5 subjects in group experiments. A questionnaire was used in which a positive answer meant efficacy of LSD (independent of degree) A measure of the efficacy is the "index of reaction" (RI = n/mcg.) whereby "n" is the sum of positive answers and "mcg." designated the LSD dose. . The average value of RI for individuals (from all (3-7) attended sessions) fluctuated between 0.31 and 0.86 (mean value for the group 0.47). In this study various LSD derivatives are included. The following table shows the average group values of RI and the efficacy in relation to LSD (=100). . *Interpolated from data on another group of nonpsychotic subjects.
