Benda P, Orsini F.
“Etude expérimentale de l'estimation du temps sous LSD-25.”.
Ann.méd.-psychol.. 1959;117:550.
Detailed version of the paper by Benda & Orsini (No. 640). . Eight normal subjects were required to estimate time while under the influence of LSD. Use was made of a reproduction test lasting 30 seconds, a production test lasting 10 seconds, and an indifference interval (indication of a period which the subjects considered to be neither short nor long). . The reproduction and production tests showed that time was thought to pass rapidly. The indifference interval was thought to be longer and the range of variance was greater. These findings are discussed with reference to a general hypothesis on the increase in inertia and decrease in attention produced by LSD.
