Abstract
2 mcg LSD given i.p. to 5 rats caused initial hyperactivity with increased nervousness lasting up to 20 minutes followed by inactivity lasting 1-2 hours. . 2 mcg LSD given i.p. to 7 trained rates reduced the success rate in performing a task to nil after 35 minutes. After 55 minutes the success rate slowly increased until it reached control values after 105 minutes.
