Abstract
Intraperitoneal injection of LSD in bufotenine in rats caused: . 1) Confusion, 2) Peripheral vasodilatation, 3) Change in body posture . LSD, but not bufotenine, caused hypersalivation, increased frequency of urination and defecation. . The duration of effect (assessed from time taken by trained rats to climb a pole) was 20-30 minutes for LSD and more than 2 hours for bufotenine.
