“Effets sur l'EEG du lapin d'une intoxication chronique ou aiguë par la diéthylamide de l'acide lysergique (LSD 25).”.
Compt. rend. Soc. Biol.. 1957;151:698.
Abstract
Chronic Studies: 50 mcg./kg. LSD given parenterally each day for 2 weeks. In 56 of 68 rabbits a basal rhythm of high (approximately 100 MV), slow (5 to 6 cps.) waves with small, rapid (more than 30 cps.) waves. Acute study: 50 mcg./kg. LSD i.v. produced a very rapid and flat EEG tracing similar to that of an arousal reaction. [For similar results in acute studies on rabbits see Delay et al., No. 18, and Rinaldi & Himwich, No. 103. For chronic studies in the dog see Buscaino & Frongia, No. 47.]
