“The analeptic action of lysergic acid diethylamide on reserpine-sedated mice.”.
Ann. N.Y. Acad. Sc.. 1957;66:695.
Abstract
LSD, d-amphetamine and desoxyephedrine exert an analeptic action in mice sedated with reserpine. LAE is much less active. Other compounds studied including BOL, 1-LSD, and 1-amphetamine, showed no analeptic activity. The reserpine-induced prolongation of pentobarbital anesthesia in mice is reversed by LSD and d-amphetamine, but not by BOL.
