Abstract
The effect of LSD on 15 normal adults is reported. Besides subjective symptoms, alterations were observeded in the following: Thinking and speech; emotions, mood and affect; sensory and time perception; behavior; morbid ideas and sensory experiences; and neurological signs. The reaction exhibited 3 phases, lasting a total of 12-16 hours; in some subjects a 4th phase lasting one to several days was seen.
