Citation:   Fnord23. "Partial Glimpse of Dimension Next Door: An Experience with Salvia divinorum (10x extract) (exp98245)". Erowid.org. Dec 13, 2019. erowid.org/exp/98245

DOSE:
2 hits smoked Salvia divinorum (extract - 10x)
BODY WEIGHT: 205 lb
Since it was a holiday, I had a pretty relaxing day and was in a calm, contemplative and relaxed mood. But out of boredom and a nagging curiosity I decided to try some of the Salvia divinorum I had left over from my first (albeit somewhat unremarkable) experience I had several years ago.

As I began to fill the bowl with 10x extract my heart began to palpitate faster and my senses were heightened. I took some deep breaths and meditated briefly too slow my heart rate and calm down. Then I took two tokes from the pipe.

Immediately, I started feeling really stoned and my movements felt slow and jerky so I layed down on my bed. I closed my eyes and I started to get a weird pulling sensation throughout my body and especially focused around my head. It felt like my essence or 'soul' was being tugged on magnetically pulled by some kind of attracting force.

My consciousness start drifting between the reality of my bedroom and some higher dimensional reality that is veiled to us under normal cognitive circumstances. I have the feeling that if I had taken a stronger dose or more concentrated extract, that I would've broken completely through the veil of our everyday reality and become conscious of higher dimensions of reality or being.

In this other dimension, it seemed as if I was an entity who had fallen down, or was waking up, coming out of coma etc. It had an epic and revelatory aspect, yet familiar at the same time.
It had an epic and revelatory aspect, yet familiar at the same time.

As the effects began to wane, this higher dimensional realm started to drift away. My consciousness was returning to my body laying in bed. At the same time this other realm began to disappear out of view of my perceptive faculties. I can only describe it as how it would feel to be laying in a cardboard box looking up at someone very familiar and then having the cardboard flaps enclosed around you till you are left looking up at the side of a box.

It was very peculiar and alienating feeling. The only comparison I could think of would be something like fainting in a food court and awaking to a crowd trying to help you up or discern whether you have brain damage or not, and almost pitying you.

Unsettling to say the least. Yet I may try it again some day and possibly use a more potent extract to have the full-blown out of body experience.
