DOSE:
2 bowls smoked Salvia apiana (dried)
BODY WEIGHT: 175 lb
I’m kind of a hippie myself, and I burn incense a lot, so I decided I want to get some other herbs – I didn’t plan on smoking them at this point. I smoke pot about three times a week so I’m no stranger to smoking and have had experiences with other psychedelics. I got five bundles of sage, which I had smelled before but never owned.

I burned it one night while hanging out with a friend listening to “Dark Side of The Moon” on my record player. We were overwhelmed by the smell of it. We burn incense frequently while relaxing, but we had never smelled anything quite this powerful. I then wondered, “can you smoke this?”

I went on eBay to see what this sage was called to get a better idea of what it exactly was and it was called White Sage (Salvia Apiana). I then figured it was smokeable. I looked up some reviews and saw what people had to say. I tried it about 50 minutes ago – smoked two bowls by itself.

To me, it’s very similar to just being high on cannabis but with slightly upped effects. My eyes are heavier, my imagination is expanded, I feel a kind of tingly sensation running up and down my body, I feel almost sleepy. Music definitely sounds wider and a bit more spacey. My imagination expanded is the thing I notice the most, I notice things much more than normal.

It’s a good experience, definitely having a good time, it’s very comparable to smoking weed.
