Glaucine

DOSE:
  oral Glaucine (powder / crystals)

I acquired 1 gram of Glaucine HBr from an online source.

Doses were tried ranging from 100mg to 500mg, with the substance dissolved in a glass of water. It tastes disgustingly bitter. Effects come on extremely quickly, say 5 minutes and resemble a very weak opiate high with a stimulant edge. I was able to achieve a fair if fleeting buzz, but no overt euphoria. Some mild psychedelic effects are also present, consisting of CEV's and lights. Effects last about an hour and then quickly end.

However my experiences were all followed by a very uncomfortable dysphoria and general ill feeling, worsening as the dose gets higher. I seriously felt utterly depressed, suicidal even, after each of my experiences with glaucine. It really is that bad. This dysphoria persists for hours, lasting well into the morning when taken the night before. Interestingly urinary retention was also experienced after the largest 500-mg dose, so this may provide a clue to the mechanism of action.

I would say the comedown is genuinely on par with an MDMA comedown or alcohol hangover, which is very strange to say the effects are so mild. Some nausea was present at the higher doses also.
Overall an extremely poor recreational substance. Avoid.
