First Research on AM-2201
Wednesday –My shipment of Am-2201 arrives, it is in the form of a white to slightly tan powder the 5 grams weighed out almost perfect. I measure 5mgs into a vaporizer and started my experiment. The start was slow compared to other RC’s I have tried, but then a nice clean almost “Indica” feeling came over me (cI give it about 5 minutes maybe 10 until I feel it). I have a unusually high tolerance and at 5mg felt no paranoia more like a laid back but still very alert feeling.
Late Wed. My next experiment I got a little bolder placing 12mg on top of pure hand sifted Damiana. At this dose I got confused lost track of time and had a few fits of laughter. I actually called my wife wondering where she had disappeared to, she quickly told me she had been at work all day and I needed to get my head together. This confusion only lasted about 20 minutes then I was fine and just enjoyed the rest of my research.
Thursday – The chemist in me-was burning a hole in my lab equipment, so I had to step up the research. I wanted to purify my AM-2201 to the best of my abilities. I dissolved the AM-2201 in an 8/2 ethanol/acetone solution filtered through pure blue silk and placed in an evaporating flask. After evaporation and re-crystallization I had the most beautiful clear shards of what I would say was actually pure Am-2201. After getting the proper dosage down this is the only way I will research this chemical now. A little cleaning and re-crystallization goes a long way. The quality of my research increased exponentially after re-crystallization, this is when I did get a little paranoid it is really easy to overdo. I would either purify and measure carefully, or make incense and don’t worry about the purity, research all you want.
