An Experience With Nembutal

One early Saturday evening I decided to test some Chinese Nembutal...it had come to me flat packed and sealed, in 2 separate envelopes, each containing 15 grams of a disgustingly bitter white powder. I used a set of jewelry scales to measure approximately 100mg. I took it at about 5:30pm.

It took a while to kick in, but after that I felt fairly easy going, at 6:30 I felt a little bit drunk, but by around 7:30 I was really getting hammered, I'm told that Nembutal peaks in the blood around 2 hours, so that would be about right on cue. It took about 30 minutes to start working, from memory, and that I took it on a fairly full stomach. I was also jittery and anxious. That feeling would soon be gone.

The experience I could describe as feeling easy, with no anxiety, like being able to walk into a shopping mall full of lunatics and being able to go right through them without the slightest panic or irritability. Like being able to walk on a plank over a 300 metre drop and not feeling the least bit scared. Normally I know I just could NEVER do it, I freak out as soon as I see lots of people in a closed space. But after I took the Nembutal, it was like a layer of mental and physical distress was lifted right off of me

. I went for a walk outside, and when I told the neighbor that I had been drinking a bit of whisky she answered and said 'you walking slow mate', and I could hear her voice as sharp as anything, almost like it was a bit amplified. At that point I instinctively knew this was a barbiturate as I always get that amplified voice effect when I've taken anything that was designed to makes me sleepy, like Mogadon (nitrazepam) and Serepax (oxazepam) as well as Avanza (for my depression, which I take each night before bed) which also has a sedative effect.

The Nembutal was the strongest sedative I'd taken in a long time. I'd assume that by doubling the dose I would be virtually out of it and probably asleep for quite a while. The effects lasted for about 5 hours, but I finally went to sleep at around 10:30pm which is when I normally go to sleep.

When I woke up I just laid in bed for about 20 minutes, not really wanting to get up, but eventually I had a shower, and went to church. When I was at church I felt a bit tired, and lethargic, and wanted to lie down for most of the time. This lasted until around the afternoon.

I can sum it up and say that whatever it was, it was very potent, and really slowed me down. I'd hazard a guess that if I took 200mg I would be virtually unconscious.

Being 'Chinese Nembutal' one would wonder if it is really Nembutal and not something else that would substitute it, but I'd suggest from my experience that it was definitely a barbiturate, and going by the small dose that it had to have been a strong one. Going by the feeling, I don't think it was an anti-histamine, as I've taken those before, and Avanza has an anti-histamine effect and I am familiar with these effects, especially the dry mouth which usually characterises anti-histamines, and even Avanza. I didn't experience that with Nembutal. What I did experience was a loss of anxiety and a somewhat drunk feeling - and Avanza has never done that to me, neither has any anti-histamine. I conclude it was indeed Nembutal, but the only way to prove that is with a proper assay test and I have not the means to do so, so I will have to rely on word of mouth to find out the truth. I'm reasonably sure that it will come back as 90%+ pentobarbital sodium.

God only knows, but whatever it was, it was very nice, and I certainly wouldn't be taking it often, I've heard too many horror stories of people who've abused barbiturates and ended up in psychiatric wards...not for me...but when the anxiety really gets too much and things get desperate, I'd say 50mg would be nice for a short term relief, as 100mg was definitely too much for that, and maybe even 25mg would be good enough.
