Two friends and myself purchased 7 capsules of DPT and 12 hits of DOC two nights ago. Unfortunately, One of my friends was not able to trip with us that night and ended up taking his DPT else where...

My remaining friend and I returned to my house around 11:30 P.M. the night of the purchase. We set up my room for the 'Perfect' trip experience. We set up are beds with many blankets and choose some good music on our IPods. After that, we opened are capsules and dumped them out in front of my TV. I noted that the lines looked quite large (at least to me). Without much thought we snorted our lines in one big snuff.

At first there wasn't much effect other then a slight burning in my nose. I had tried DMT once before and had assumed that DPT also kicked in extremely fast. However, I was wrong. We sat on a mattress on my floor playing Call of Duty for a few minutes.

About half-way through the first round I noticed that things in the game were starting to become more clear to me. Things I didn't notice before such as the trees in the background of the level and debris falling from the sky. My friend also began to notice the changes. Slowly things started to change color and my palms became sweaty.

The color change eventually became a vibrant and rapid change of all the colors of the rainbow (especially my friend's skin color). Only a few minutes had passed after this change and my friend began to look somewhat demonic to me. This demonic look however was not scary, but actually quiet pleasant. The smile on his face was a cross between evil and happy. I suddenly realized that I too had a demonic grin on my face as well.

At this point I knew it was time for music. I told my friend and he agreed. We both grabbed our IPods and jumped into bed. I lay listening to music for what seemed only like minutes and things began to become distorted. I realized what was happening. We where beginning our true trip. Laying in my bed my heart began to beat very rapidly. I became afraid. Things where starting to melt away completely. Three or four times we lifted are heads up to talk but no words came out. We both just nodded are heads at each other with our demonic smiles...

After the last time we nodded at each other I was fully there. I no longer cared for music. I closed my eyes and slipped away...

This part of my trip is rather hard to explain because my thoughts where racing so fast I couldn't keep up and don't remember everything that happened. The most vivid image I can recall is three friends of mine (one being my trip partner) and myself gathered around a large glowing ball of energy. We were floating above a still glass ocean. From our bodies and everything around us came cords of all different colors, connected to the ball. The cords where either feeding the ball all the energy of the world (or perhaps the universe?) or the ball was feeding the energy to everything else. I can't be sure.

At this point I arose from my bed and found myself able to talk again. My friend also arose. As things began to put themselves back together I noticed that my friend still looked demonic and that cords where still attached to both of us. They slowly began to fade away as I repeatedly asked my friend 'What matters? Will we ever be sane again?' What seemed like a few minutes to me seemed to pass as we talked about our trip and I slowly realized that we were fine and th etrip was ending. Everything slowly put itsself back together. I look at the clock. 2:45. NO! Had we really been laying in silence for about two hours. Apparently so.

We discussed our trip for the next two hours and 15 minutes. Around 5 A.M. we decided it was time for sleep. We awoke the next morning at 12. We got up ate some food and went back into my room. Time for the DOC.

Since no one was home at my house, we decided it a good place to trip again. We each took a hit and began to clean up from the night before. After an hour or so we quickly found ourselves amped up and awake. Two hours later we began to note visuals in the trees leaves. We spent the next two hours discussing our DPT trip some more and listening to music.

[Erowid Note: Driving while intoxicated, tripping, or extremely sleep deprived is dangerous and irresponsible because it endangers other people. Don't do it!]
We received a phone call from a friend who wanted to try the DPT so, we got in my car to take off to pick him up. When we returned to my house with our friend he (we'll call him friend B and my other friend friend A) quickly took his hit of DPT. Friend A and I sat on my bed watching him trip. He lay on the mattress with headphones on for about 2 hours.

When he got up he explained his trip and we decided to take a walk into the woods. There we discussed our lives and why we do drugs and what they mean to us.

The rest of the day was spent driving around and hanging with other friends. Later that night friend A decided to take a second hit of DOC. I did not since I had to return home to my parents.

All in all this has probably been one of my best trips, if not the best day of my life.
