I'll spare you guys the metaphors and sensory details and address the brunt of what went down.

As an avid music fest attendee and seeker of mental thrills I am quite accustomed to dosing with Psilocybin mushrooms and LSD, not to mention the many varieties of 'flipping' with other substances. My expectations of DMT without reading anyones experiences were that it would be the most intense few minutes of my life in terms of sensory perception and euphoria. Having read that even Gracie Slick of Jefferson Airplane found it to be too much had me worried a bit about even trying it.

Last week my friend called me ranting and raving about the stuff (DMT). I was initially skeptical since I had never heard of anyone having it locally and since my friend's last time tripping was spent in a corner wigged out of his face. He claimed it was more intense but shorter in duration, but also one experience he said I had to take part in.

The substance he obtained from our mutual friend looked like flakes of yellow crack cocaine but it definitely wasn't. The most common way to smoke it is with marijuana. Layering a small bit on top of a fresh bowl gets rid of the taste and adds a layer to the pot high for the remainder of that time.

I held it in long enough 15-20 seconds I knew it worked once I got slightly light headed.

Almost immediately after exhalation my senses got shaken around like glitter in a snow globe. The common items, and people around me visually radiated waves of color, and what I can only call aura. Plants and trees, uprooted and actively moved, swayed, and lumbered around me, or so it seemed that way.

The first 2 minutes were the most intense, as my body and senses had never experienced such overload. I felt as though time has completely stopped. Ambient music in the background had no effect on what I felt, which is surprising considering how LSD can make me bug twitch with the right tunes.

The 3 foot tall and wide fern came to life and if I didn't know any better I'd say I actually witnessed photosynthesis on a near microscopic level. The feelings between minute 3 and 8 are of extreme place. Upon looking at my own arms legs and body, it appeared that as I breathed my skin and hair were too breathing in unison with my heart. The colors I exuded were golden amber, sometimes producing the image of golden ants that were dancing to the rhythm of my actions.

However when I gazed at my friend during the trip, I got quite disgusted with the way he appeared to my senses. Dirt, grease, and green beetles of some sort were running rampant on his legs. Trying to hold a coherent discussion was incredibly difficult, locating facts and information that put together sentences was nowhere to be found upon thinking. The first 8 minutes are over.

The last 4 minutes of my trip were spent trying to dissect what was going on, my logic was returning but the pot high had major traces of DMT all over it and I was still feeling incredibly good. it was easy to imagine shamans of South America ingesting this stuff and seeing great spirits and dead comrades. I also thought that this was something only a mentally study individual could do. My last thought before I landed back on earth were that my other friends would question the legitimacy of me doing this. My answer was clear. Based on the experiences contrived and textbook examples of extreme euphoria produced by the substance, is it hard to imagine that this stuff was anything else but DMT. Nothing else I can imagine in the universe could do what it did. Dreaming while awake, unmistakably DMT.
