I can remember my first time to smoke crack...one hit and I was totally hooked and the more I had the more I wanted.
I was riding in the car with my boyfriend and since he was driving I was lucky enough to get the first hit...I held the lighter to my pipe and melted the rock then I looked thru the glass stem at the brownish oily goo and I fired it up and sucked in as much smoke as possible and held it til I couldn't hold it anymore...as I exhaled I heard this loud humming in my ears and my heart was beating so fast the sound of the tires and the wind was absolutely wonderful and I felt like I was buzzing all over, a strong sexual desire flooded my body and I prayed for the feeling to last just a little longer. I tried to get another hit but nothing was like the first one. I wanted another right then. It was absolutely the most wonderful feeling.

But when the weekend was over the money was gone and I regretted that I didn't know how to enjoy life anymore. Nothing brought me more pleasure than crack. Not my children, not my b/f, not my job just crack. And then I got pregnant. Somehow I loved the life within me more than I did crack cocaine. I stopped smoking and now I have not smoked in 12 yrs. I have an 11 yr old daughter. I may actually have smoked some before I knew I was pregnant but she was born without any problems.
I loved the feeling but I will never use again. It is a terrible feeling to be controlled by a substance so powerful.
