I'll start this report by saying I've tried a few psychoactive substances, used some pharmaceuticals recreationally and a fair amount of experience with marijuana. While I do not regret the experiences I've had, I've come to the conclusion that the drugs I take should be more focused on improving me as a person and in the long-term. That is partly why I turned to piracetam.

I'm a college student and rarely have problems concentrating. I can sit down and read a novel in one sitting at times. My grades tend to be mostly A's with a few B's here and there. I have an excellent memory for names, historical events, concepts, random trivia and images. For some reason, I have a pretty mediocre memory when numbers are introduced, like dates or equations in a math formula.

I bought some piracetam online, hoping to give me more of a mental edge and perhaps to alleviate the lack of motivation and mental cloudiness I have felt as of late. My first dosage was 1600 mgs of piracetam. I had been suffering from the flu, so I do not know if its effects were hampered by it, but I definitely felt something. In fact, I tried hard not to feel something, but I started to. I was playing a video game when it kicked in and suddenly, I did not feel like playing the video game. Instead, I wanted to get something productive done.

I drove to the store to purchase some Choline as I had heard that it makes piracetam more effective. On the way there, I listened to some jazz on NPR. Most of the time I truly hate jazz, but somehow I was enjoying it and I could every individual instrument. When I usually listen to music, I only hear the whole, but now I was hearing the parts. I attribute this to the piracetam. At the mall my flu symptoms really started to kick in and I felt quite fatigued, but the piracetam was keeping me alert and rather happy.

Later in the evening I took another 1600 Mgs and some more Choline. I then drove to my parents house and during the drive, spoke to my girlfriend on the phone and something odd happened. I am normally a decent driver, but this time all I could concentrate on was the conversation with my girlfriend and not the road. it was as if I was hyper-concentrating.

So far the effects are quite pleasent and worth the 15 bucks I paid for the piracetam. It clearly has an effect on concentration, perhaps negative in a way, but an effect none the less. I am waiting to see if it affects my memory abilities over the long term.
