I hate reading reports that are too long so I'll make mine short. Started taking DXM for fun when I was 18. Soon, after taking it for about 2 months, it became extremely addictive. I tried to quit but found the withdrawal symptoms to be unbearable. (During Summer Vacation, No school, No Work)

One thing led to another and I found myself using it daily for about 8 months, about 300mg 2 times a day. I couldn't go to school anymore, I couldn't work anymore, I couldn't even hold a normal conversation anymore. My friends and Family didn't take long to find out what was going on.

I honestly tried to stop over 12 times. What finally made me stop, sadly, was liver failure. I found out the toxins fucked my liver up big time. The doctor said continuing what I'm doing would lead me to die. I was shocked. How did my life, from straight A's, good job, good health get here.? Even though I finally stooped my hands shake everyday and I know I have gotten permanent damage. I guess I shouldn't have started in the first place!!!
