Poppy Tea Can Kill You

I was really excited about trying poppy pod tea after hearing so many good things about it from the online community. After a lot of research on acquiring, preparing, and the first-time experiences from countless web pages I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. What actually happened however was entirely different from what other first time users of opium had reported. My actual experience terrified me as I will explain below. Sometimes following experienced users' tricks-of-the-trade to boost a high can be fatal when it comes to opiates. This personal recipe of mine is the worst tasting tea on the planet but it will get me higher than a kite, if not stone cold dead.

My preparation was as follows:
1 Gravol anti-nauseant taken 20 minutes in advance
3-6 Gigantic dried opium poppy pods (pod potency varies immensely by strain)
2 Cups of boiling water
4 TBS Vinegar
1 Tsp pepper

1 250ml glass of grapefruit juice (as a chaser to the tea)

I dropped the gravol in advance because I had heard a lot about opiates making you sick and vomit especially for first timers. The poppy pods I used were Papaver somniferum otherwise known as the opium poppy. Only the outer pods were used, and the poppy seeds discarded. The dried pods were broken into chunks and reduced to a fine powder using a coffee grinder. I placed the powder into a stainless steel bowl. Next I filled my kitchen sink about half full with piping hot water in which I allowed the stainless steel bowl to float preheating the poppy pod powder. This would later allow the poppy mixture to steep without cooking it.

Next I microwaved the water with the vinegar in it in a separate plastic dish and once it was rapidly boiling I poured it into the dish of poppy powder. Next the black pepper (containing the piperine alkaloids) was added and the mixture was stirred slowly. The mash was allowed to steep for 10 minutes then strained into a large glass using a piece of new J-cloth (substituted for cheesecloth). I downed the full 2 cups of tea while pinching my nose followed by a chaser of grapefruit juice.

I figured I would sit on the couch and space out on some tv and wait for it to kick in. People online mentioned it takes 40-45 minutes before the effects start to really happen but within 30 minutes I realized to my horror I was barely breathing and blacking out
within 30 minutes I realized to my horror I was barely breathing and blacking out
. I had to focus on trying to breathe, as it seemed as though my mind had forgot how to autonomously animate my lungs. This and the fact my body wasn't responding to my mind's commands to move and get up. Only after really, truly panicking and getting a burst of adrenaline was I able to get into the bathroom and stick my fingers down my throat to potentially save my life. Here I figured puking half of it up would be a sobering experience but for 20 hours now I've been high. I decided to lie down at first in bed to try and let go of that bad situation, and after closing my eyes and relaxing found myself experiencing some the best metaphysical sensations I could ever conceptualize. Wave after wave of what I could only describe as full body orgasms racked my body (except it's better than a orgasm). For 4 hours I lay motionless in a sea of warm pleasure not wanting to move or think about anything other than the tactile sensations I never even knew existed until that night. The high I went through isn't similar to most peoples accounts of drinking dried poppy pod tea.

My research into CYP3A4 enzyme inhibitors (pepper and grapefruit juice) went a long way in intensifying my first time high. Perhaps drinking half at first and waiting an hour would be 'good medicine'.
