I was taking tramadol in varying quantities over a period of about 2 years. I found as a new mother that it gave me energy to get through the day without feeling drowsy and dumb like benzos can and codeine. I needed to do stuff (eg. cook, clean, look after kids etc.). So I was not doing it for a buzz. I just found it made me feel NORMAL for once in my life.
Anyhow, one evening I found myself being pinned to the floor of my unit, being told not to move, my 3 year old daughter had wet herself was crying and my neighbour was telling me to stay put as I watched my husband calling the ambulance. I ended up in hospital for over a week, felt like a piece of shit and once out, it took me a month to start to feel almost normal again. I will NEVER take this dirty drug again,I urge anyone not to do it. You don't know when it's going to happen I actually felt quite good that day. I could have been driving and killed my kids. NOT A GOOD THOUGHT. PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THIS SHIT. Find another kinder med.
