My spouse is one of those persons who sees the doctor a lot for various ailments and is always bringing home interesting drugs for me to try. After a recent sports injury, she brought home a big bottle of hydrocodone which was the generic version (according to the RX label) of vicodin. The first couple pills made her sick to her stomach so she quit taking them…good for me!

Knowing they are addictive, I have been spacing out my “sessions” with a week between each. I don’t regularly use any other drugs (legal or otherwise) so there are no worries about interactions. I weigh about 200 pounds so I figure I can take a good deal of the drug.

I take three 5 mg. pills at about 8:00PM which kick in at about 8:20pm or so. I get warm and “fuzzy” and feel really relaxed. Then I take one pill per hour until I feel ready for sleep. That keeps me kind of building the high until about 1:30am or so. By that time I am drowsy and a little wobbly on my feet. Throughout I never feel overwhelmed by the high and sometimes I’ll take an extra pill just for kicks. Of course I never drive or take any other drug during this time.

When I hit the bed, the sheets feel really good and it is just “fun” to lay there and think. I have the strangest dreams when I finally go out but nothing unpleasant.

I do find that urination is difficult when on the drug and my bowels won’t be regular for a day or two. I’m also quite sleepy the following day but it’s a nice sleepy, not at all like an alcohol hang-over.

I’ve become a little concerned about the other ingredients (non-aspirin pain-relievers) in the pills and haven’t used them for a couple weeks. I may not for quite awhile as I am scared of the liver damage they can cause. It’s a mellow yet strong high for me at the doses I have described.
