My roommate had just got in a batch of pulverized, encapsulated shrooms but had not tried them yet. His supplier said, '7 to trip, 10 to trip balls and 20 to completely lose your mind.' I had never successfully tripped from shrooms and was skeptical of their potency. I had done LSD many times and multiple hits at once and I was not afraid of shrooms. So my roommate told me to do 10.

He left for work and I was home alone. I sat in my second roommates room and did nothing but for some reason I would randomly burst into laughter every few seconds. Roommate #1 called me about 45 minutes into it and asked if I was feeling anything. I just responded, 'hahahahahahahaha I don't know man hahahahahahahahaha.' Then I proceded to dance around my house to the blasting music occuring internally, mentally. By doing so I spilled water all over my house.

I went to lay down on Roommate #2's bed and then I started tripping hard. I held two blind cords in front of my face and wiggled them. The motion created looked like a tall, slender, neon stick figure grooving and dancing. I looked out of his window and the forest beside our house looked all computer animated because it was so brilliant and seemingly flawless.

I stared at the cieling, seeing random images for a few minutes. Then a full color mural enveloped the entire white cieling. The scene was of a gorilla on a throne, decked out in gold, with a lush Babylon-esque landscape in the background.

After this I layed on my side in the fetal position. I lifted my right arm to scratch my head and I noticed, every time I lifted my arm, the room would be as bright as daylight and every time I let my arm fall, the room would turn to dusk. To varify my results I tried this over and over for about fifteen minutes before concluding, I was tripping balls.

I paced about my house with more intensity, seeing every blemish or speck of dirt as a bottomless pit of endless filth, something inescapable when you own an older house. To make my final conclusion that I was indeed tripping balls, I looked in a full-length mirror straight into my own large pupils. After a few seconds, all of the skin on my body was covered with exact copies of my eyes save for their color was instead that of a psychedelic rainbow. But only my skin, not my clothes had this insanely colorful eye design on all over it.

I decided the trip was becoming too intense which is a bad realization to come to because it ruins the remainder of the trip. I told my roommates I would have to be alone for a bit but I would come get them if I needed anything. The sounds coming from my computer combined with the hum of my humidifier and air-conditioner to make a horrible and inescapable chord that seemed very, very loud. So I lay in my bed, hear racing, undergoing unfathomably deep introspection. At one point, I even felt close to suicide to quiet my head of the overwhelming sensory sensations.

I did not get any 'extra-dimensional' visuals that I had hoped for. But the trip soon ended and I felt fine, if not better than before I took the shrooms.
