It was a rainy day. My dad and I had just gotten off work. We had discussed in weeks past the consumption of a couple of magic mushrooms that I had picked up from a dealer in my town. He eventually convinced me that it would be sick to trip in the rain, so I agreed. We proceeded home and took out the goods. I had two whole magic mushrooms and we took them out and split them both down the middle. The reasoning behind this is in case one was stronger than the other, we would have an equal dose. We ingested the fungi without much of a problem, and started our journey.

We were on our way to a place in Narragansett where my dad said would be a cool place to trip out. Already after 15 minutes I felt mildly fucked up. On our way I felt as though the trees were going to bend over and eat us. I also felt mildly nauseous, but the feeling subsided quickly.

(T+45 minutes)
We arrived at a shoreline trail in Narragansett where a winding path lead down to the ocean. As we walked down, I felt the intoxicating effects of the shrooms come on rather quickly. As soon as I stepped onto the first rock on the beach, I had an incredible body high, and felt as if I might float away. The colors came on and I proceeded to watch the rocks merge and swirl all the while experiencing a freedom like I had never felt before.

After we walked around the beach for a good hour, we decided to leave. As we drove away from that lovely place of awe and wonder, my dads phone rang. It was his best friend who offered to hang out with us that night. We drove to his house and munched on pizza and then rode around in his Yamaha Rhino. All in all it was the best experience that I have ever had with any drug, and I have done acid, weed, DXM, datura, nutmeg, salvia and nitrous. Mushrooms beats them all.
