DOSE:
300 mg oral Diphenhydramine (pill / tablet)
BODY WEIGHT: 135 lb
ok, so first off let me say that I didnt just do 300mg from just finding these pills in my med cab. Truth is, I bought em at rite aid and worked my way up to 300 mg.

So I decided on day during junior year to down 6 50mg softgels of diphenhydramine (benedryl/unisom) before classes started. DUMB IDEA.

Anyways so I down em, and class start with math, not much going on, except for that I noticed that the girl that sat across from looked like she had a prosthetic nose on when she wore her glasses, I couldn't stop giggling. The effects were minor for the first period, which lasted 100 minutes. Then we had advisory, which was 30 minutes, I sat down, and didn't move for the whole time. Then break, my friends heckling me and whatnot but I was still able to function. After that I had Spanish which normally sucks except for I just sat there for the whole hour, then did that again with English, it was kinda nice.

So alot of time has passed and I didnt really feel much euphoria, or pleasant feelings.

I believe what happened next is the TRUE peak of the drug, some 3-4 hours later mind you. Durin lunch, I didnt eat anything, I just wasnt hungry. So I go and sit in the library, some of my friends were on the computer and I remember leaning back in a chair against a wall and just feeling relaxed, REALLLLY relaxed. Then my friend Brian started talking to me and I spoke back and at first I noticed I slurred my words like I had down syndrome, so I tried using at least 2x as much effort to talk, low and behold, it worked. Great, I can still kinda talk....

Breathing becomes a challenge, don't freak out, your body wont stop breathing, it does that automatically, but it just feels very hard to do so.

Then I tried moving my legs, and I couldn't. I spend all of the rest of lunch, some 40 minutes making milestones out of moving my left leg 2 inches to the left, and back again. By the time lunch was over and it was history, my friend Brian helped me up which really helped me get started, and I drudged over to history. In history class I breathed heavily (silently though) for 60 minutes up until the break where I wandered outside and came back in to find my history teacher asking me 'jason, did you take any drugs?'

Blankest stare of my life was on my face....

'like benedryl or something, you seem really drowsy.'

DROWSY? Are you fucking kidding me? I was fucking sedated. I had to put ALL my effort into walking. So I replied 'yeah I took a benedryl cause I'm a bit sick...'

[Erowid Note: Driving while intoxicated, tripping, or extremely sleep deprived is dangerous and irresponsible because it endangers other people. Don't do it!]
Then the day kinda of ended I was still really drowsy, but feeling better. Kinda wearing off now. I drive home, crash on my bed and sleep. Wake up at 10pm(feeling tired, not drowsy, so it wore off), eat, bed again. Slept through the night...

For me, the trips don't seem to end until I fall asleep, which I really wanted to do. I dont really see shit. When I'm experiencing the feeling I hate it, but when I think about it weeks later I miss it, its very weird.
