Before I start let me give you some background information on myself, so that you as a reader can determine my level of experience and compare it to your own. (I really think this should be standard in the form area. It's just as important as weight and gender.)

On with the experience!
Last weekend a friend acquired four 40mg pills of Oxycontin from a friend and invited me over to try. Only having a few hours to 'trip' and it being my first experience with the drug I was a bit nervous. I've always been very cautious and as safe as possible when dealing with drugs so I immediately jumped on my computer and did some research, thus bringing me to the discovery of a harm reduction website. After deciding I felt fairly comfortable with what I was doing I drove over to my friends house.
After removing the time release coating he crushed up two 40mg pills. I split mine into four even lines and snorted one. My friend who has had enough experience with the drug to create a small addiction did his whole line. It took about 5 minutes for me to start feeling a noticeable effect. It wasn't the rush I anticipated but more of just a calm warm feeling. I took one more line and the feeling intensified. At this point I got up from my chair and walked around the room a bit trying to pay close attention to how I was feeling. By standing up it immediately became more noticeable. Again a warm easiness. After maybe 10 more minutes I felt safe enough (or high enough not to care) to do the remaining two rails. Doing this really intensified my experience and got that bit of a rush and weak feeling I had read about. I went outside and laid down on my friends patio furniture, and relaxed.
For the next few hours that is exactly how I felt, really really really relaxed, warm, and very content. I really just wanted to close my eyes and sleep but didn't. (NOTE: I hadn't eaten since noon, and I took the pills at about 7:00pm) One thing I noticed was almost as soon as my high kicked in my nose started to itch and didn't ever go away. It got to the point that I had to go into the bathroom and wash my face with cold water. At one point I tried something somewhat active and broke out into a sweat and felt uncomfortable for the first time. I started drinking lots of water. Around 10:00pm I needed to go home and was feeling really really tired.
When I arrived at my home I immediately went to bed and crashed into a night mixed of deep deep sleep and dreaming, and waking up every hour. When I woke up the next morning I felt someone hungover, but not bad at all really. Mostly I was still really tired, somewhat pretty high and really dehydrated. When I started drinking water I immediately felt sick, went to the bathroom and threw up. I knew the feeling. I hadn't eaten anything and I was still buzzing pretty hard. I've had a similar experience when I had surgery and was popping vicodin on an empty stomach. Once I ate some food and drank some water I felt better but could tell my body needed a lot more nourishment. For the rest of the day I was still somewhat high and very dehydrated. I would say the buzz lasted about 24 hours.a
