I got some Salvia 6x in the mail last week. My first experience (1/2 bowl) was very strange, almost scary. I was alone. The overwhelming feeling was that something was trying to get me and that I had to fight to stay sane. The feeling passed after about 2 minutes (I imagine) and then I realized that I had smoked Salvia, and that I had meant to do this. After that, it was very pleasant, but the peak had passed, so I knew I would have to try again, next time conscious of the fact that I'd just have to flow with it and not fight.

So the next time was yesterday. I did it with a housemate, and the combination of knowing what I was in for and having a friend with me made all the difference in the world. Again, I tried half a bowl. This time, immediately upon exhale, I felt waves of very charged energy coursing through my limbs. I closed my eyes and just went with it. It was exquisite and blissful. I remember laughing a very contented laugh. It felt totally right.

We did it again last night, same amount, and this time it was even better. The same energy, but I also felt I was being hugged very tightly by a woman, and we were rolling through space in each other's arms. We were rolling to very joyous music. It's not like the music I've experienced under the influence of LSD and similar chemicals - I seemed to sense it from a totally different mechanism. Anyway, it was again very blissful.

So I thought I had this stuff down. Just go with it, right? Well, about half an hour ago, I stupidly tried 3/4 of a bowl all by myself. As I exhaled the smoke, I was immediately flooded with panic. The conscious part of my mind that was supposed to generate instructions to let go was completely gone. I laid down, very scared of something, I don't know what. My neighbors were playing Mexican music. I could hear it very faintly before I smoked, but now I could hear it very loud and it was making fun of me. I could hear dogs yapping in the distance. They were yapping 'Ri-Di-Cu-Lous! Ri-Di-Cu-Lous!' I was in no state to do anything, but I got up in a panic and wandered around in my backyard, trying to pretend I was normal. I saw my other neighbors were home, so I walked over and fessed up. Told them I had smoked this weird stuff and was having a bad trip. Thank God for good neighbors. They let me chill out and get over it. They were actually honored that I came to them for safety.

I neglected advice to have a sitter with me. Who knows what I could've gotten myself into wandering around like that... I feel really stupid for not heeding the warning.
