DOSE:
30 mg oral Amphetamines (daily)
BODY WEIGHT: 160 lb
The Adderall Diet

I've been diagnosed with ADD since I was in first grade. I at first took ritalin and was on that drug until I guess middle school. I then was put on concerta and I took that for roughly 5 years. I stopped taking it when I would suffer from depression caused by the medicine. I then switched to Adderall XR. At the time of my medication switch, I was 240 pounds. This was in January '05. As soon as I started taking the medication I completely lost my appetite. I liked the fact that I didn't have any appetite and I kept with it. Because of the fact that I was taking in much less food and my metabolism was sped up so much from the medicine, I rapidly began to lose weight. By June I had lost 80 pounds, now weighing 160. I've learned how to control my appetite on Adderall so I can eat normal food but I can see the power behind this drug.
