When my fresh truffles came in the post the packet was already open, they looked very dark and smelled a bit more than usual, but I thought what the hell. After taking them about 30 minutes I felt sick so I thought I'd better visit the bathroom then I puked twice. Afterwards I felt fine apart from feeling weak all over and wonky vision that lasted 2 hours.

This was a pathetic batch and I ask anyone to be weary of dodgy fungus.

I've taken half the dose before and giggled for three hours a few weeks before this event. But this experience hasn't put me off mushrooms, truffle perhaps.
