I have tried psilocybin mushrooms and I really enjoyed them, so I figured I would give Amanita Muscaria a try out as well. I mail ordered 15 grams of dried Amanita Muscaria mushrooms. My buddy and I each ate about 5 grams and then smoked a bowl of MJ to counteract the nausea that ensues ingestion of the amanitas. Both of us noted heightened body highs and lucidity of the mind. We waited about 45 minutes until we decided to split the rest of 5 remaining grams of the amanita muscaria.

My reaction to amanita mushrooms was far from the realm of psilocybin mushrooms. The experience of psilocybin for me was much more intense, both mentally, and physically. I was very relaxed through the 4 hour duration of my amanita trip. I was a little nervous about how much different quantities of the amanita muscaria would effect me. Originally I was going to try just 2 or 3 grams. I ate 5, didn't notice much of an effect, so I ate 2.5 more grams. If I had the chance, I would have eaten up to 10 or 15 grams.

I don't believe I felt the full effect of the drug. I did not notice any forms of synesthesia, nor did I have any visual or mental hallucinations. Rather, I enjoyed heightend body highs and a relatively nice heightened state of euphoria over a period of about 4 hours.
